Where these numbers came from

Read off each network's own pages on 2 August 2026. They change them without telling us, so have a look before you buy.

The questions everyone asks

Do I keep my number, and will WhatsApp still work?
Yes to both. Your normal SIM keeps your number, your calls and your texts, and Fiver only carries data. WhatsApp, iMessage and anything that texts you a code carry on as normal.
Does my normal SIM stay switched on?
It does. Fiver is digital, so nothing goes in your SIM tray. You point your mobile data at Fiver for a few days and then point it back.
Do I need to tell my network?
No. Your contract, your plan and your bill all stay exactly as they are, so there is nothing for them to know about.
What if 5GB is not enough?
Buy another one whenever you want. It is still a fiver each time and there is still nothing to cancel.
How do I cancel Fiver?
There is nothing to cancel. It runs out on its own and you never hear from us again unless you come back. Unless you mean you didn't activate your eSim in which case simply hit the request a refund button in your My Fiver area.

Not sure about your phone? Buy it and try — if you don't activate the eSIM, we refund you in full, no quibble. Wondering something else? Read the rest of the answers.
